"Woke up, fell out of bed
Dragged a comb across my head"
Might explain the angry red lines that just appeared across my bald dome...
I'm really just practicing and learning how blogger works. I'm not really keen on the idea of a blog, I want more to just kind of write a column -ish type thing once a week with some other thoughts scattered in between. Going to keep practicing for a bit before I really start sharing this.
Just keep swimming, just keep swimming...
Uh-oh... 'Scuse You... Hola!
Thank you, Boudreaux...

Hi! My name is Joe! I work...in a button factory...
"Hi there!" (in my best Peter Gabriel / Big Time voice).
My name is Rick and this is just a rough introduction to my latest experiment. I'm finally beginning to put my experiences as a father of three down for others to read...pardon me if this starts out a little rough. I just want to share some thoughts, ideas, recipes, laughs and probably some really gross moments.
I was trying to come up with a name for this blog that was intelligent, but didn't sound pretentious. Having no luck finding that name, I decided to use something like "[Insert Cutesy/Witty Blog Name Here]", until I read it and realized how cliche and pretentious that sounded. So I present to you the early stages of "Uh-oh...'Scuse You!...Hola!"
Some people already know the story behind that trio of exclamations, for anyone else curious I promise I will explain it soon. It's gross. And familiar. You may like it. :)
